Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly class where we’ll teach you everything you need to know—from tiles to gameplay—no experience required. Whether you’re coming with friends or showing up solo, you’ll leave confident, connected, and ready to play.

• Designed for brand-new players or those needing a refresher

• Learn tile names, game setup, and basic rules

• Understand the National Mahjong League card

• Practice the Charleston, picking, discarding, calling, and using jokers

• Outcome: Players will be able to follow the flow of the game and play with guided support

Mahj 102 (Intermediate Class)

• Designed for players who know the basics and want to improve

• Learn how to choose stronger hands and recognize card patterns

• Practice Charleston strategy and when to switch hands

• Build confidence with calls, exposures, jokers, and defensive play

• Outcome: Players will make better decisions and play with more independence

Mahj 103 (Advanced Class)

• Designed for experienced players ready for higher-level strategy

• Focus on advanced card analysis and table awareness

• Learn defensive discarding, joker strategy, and end-game decision-making

• Practice reading opponents’ exposures and discards

• Outcome: Players will play with stronger strategy, confidence, and competitive awareness
